ABOUT
HELLO
Welcome to the place where the external and internal are in constant interaction, where a cosmic dance unfolds between us and the unknown. In this process, we sometimes uncover that the unknown world is not as foreign as we might have believed. At other times, we find that our own being is unknowable. Travel writing encapsulates the widest scope of our experience—thoughts, places, feelings, conversations—and explores the various phenomena that emerge from the interaction between us and our changing environments.
This blog is a testimony to the process of documenting travel and turning experience into expression. Here, I write about my own journeys—long-distance hikes through wild landscapes, the usual existential problems of a young backpacker, or reflections on living abroad. From time to time, I also take a wrong turn into fiction or poetry.
Additionally, you can find travel guides that provide useful and relevant information about some of the places I have visited. Whether you’re here for practical information or inspiration, I hope you enjoy the ride.
Randir is a Sindarin word meaning “wandering man, pilgrim”, or “wanderer” (Tolkien Gateway).
